Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in New Britain, CT, serving elementary school students across two sites, with locations to be determined. This contract position offers a supportive environment with a diverse range of disabilities within inclusion settings, emphasizing collaboration and comprehensive student support. Position Details: Full-time, 35 hours per week Work hours: 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM Contract duration: Immediate start, ending June 9, 2026 Two openings available Onsite work at elementary schools Split schedule between two elementary school sites Qualifications: Valid SLP license active in Connecticut is required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required; consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CF) applicants Prior school-based experience is essential Completion of district fingerprinting and background checks mandatory Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within inclusive classroom settings Candidates without SLP Assistants (SLPA) certifications preferred Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students within inclusive classroom environments Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district policies and relevant regulations Benefits: Consistent schedule aligned with school hours Opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a dynamic educational setting Professional development within the school-based practice environment Qualified candidates with the appropriate credentials and a commitment to student success are encouraged to apply promptly for consideration.
