RN Neuro Medical Acute Care

UCHealth, a leader in healthcare services across Colorado, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neuro Medical Acute Care to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work at the forefront of patient care in neurology, dealing with patients suffering from acute neurological disorders and diseases. Our nurses are pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of care and support to our patients and their families in our state-of-the-art facilities. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions in an acute care setting. Monitor patient health and progress and respond to any changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments accurately and effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and therapists, to formulate individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment, and home care preparations. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records. Participate in clinical research related to neurology and contribute to departmental improvement initiatives. Strong clinical skills with a focus on neurology and acute care. Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using medical software for patient care management. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred.
