Nursing Assistant

Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team, dedicated to providing exceptional care to underserved communities. As a crucial part of our healthcare team, the Nursing Assistant will collaborate closely with registered nurses and physicians to deliver holistic, patient-focused care. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of patients, ensuring their comfort and fostering their wellness in our nurturing environment. Assist in daily patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs. Provide support with walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed. Record patient concerns and symptoms, report findings to registered nurses, and maintain comprehensive patient records. Prepare and administer meals tailored to patients' dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary. Ensure patient environment is safe, clean, and orderly. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure high-quality and compassionate care. Strong understanding of patient care and safety protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate medical equipment Adept in managing time and prioritizing workload Strong observatory skills to monitor patient health status Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
