RN-Wound Care Clinic

UCHealth is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Wound Care Clinic team. This role involves specialized care for patients with chronic and complex wounds, burns, and other skin integrity issues across our renowned healthcare system. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding and expertise in wound management, patient assessment, and the use of advanced wound care technology. Assess patient condition and propose individualized patient care plans. Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment plans based on patient responses and available latest practices. Educate patients and their families on wound care management. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Perform wound care and other medical procedures as necessary. Coordinate with healthcare team members to facilitate integrated patient care. Expert knowledge in wound care and skin integrity management Strong clinical skills and ability to operate medical equipment applicable to wound care Excellent communication and teaching skills Ability to maintain detailed patient records Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of Colorado. Wound Care Certification (WCC) or Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) strongly preferred.
