RN Surgical Stepdown Unit

This role requires an adept professional experienced in managing high acuity patients directly stepping down from surgery. As part of our committed team, you will contribute to our renowned healthcare delivery model, which focuses on optimizing patient outcomes and advancing the standard of care across our vast network of facilities. Monitor and assess patients stepping down from surgical procedures to ensure optimal care. Administer medications, manage pain, and assist in patient recovery. Collaborate with surgical and recovery teams to streamline care transitions. Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and expected recovery processes. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety and health regulations. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Ability to manage intensive patient care and complex cases Excellent communication and patient management skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS Certification required ACLS Certification preferred
