Registered Nurse Cardiac Intervention

Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Intervention unit, reinforcing our mission to provide compassionate, personalized care within our faith-based healthcare network. The role involves working closely with cardiac patients, focusing on innovative treatments and interventions to improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will exhibit a commitment to healthcare excellence and a deep understanding of cardiac care best practices. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and initiate corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology. Instruct and educate patients and families through recovery processes and post-treatment care. Maintain patient health records and prepare reports on patient status in line with health and safety standards. Strong clinical skills with a focus on cardiac care Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
