Sonora Quest Laboratories, a prestigious leader in diagnostic healthcare, is seeking a skilled Histo Technologist to join our dynamic team. In partnership with Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, we deliver high-quality diagnostic testing services across Arizona, aiding healthcare professionals and enhancing patient care outcomes. As a Histo Technologist, you will be instrumental in preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis, playing a key role in the diagnosis and treatment planning process. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, advanced technical skills, and a profound commitment to patient care. Prepare, process, and stain tissue specimens for examination and diagnosis. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microtomes, tissue processors, and stainers. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and maintain clean work environment. Collaborate with pathologists to confirm specimen diagnoses. Document technical procedures and quality control activities. Assist in the implementation of new techniques and laboratory practices. Participate in quality assurance reviews and procedural updates. Proficiency in histological techniques including embedding, cutting, staining, and mounting. Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Strong attention to detail and precision. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Capacity to work independently and as part of a team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certified Histotechnologist (HTL) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) preferred.
