Radiologic Technologist

Legacy Health seeks a qualified Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art facilities across Oregon and Washington. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care through the use of imaging technology. As a Radiologic Technologist at Legacy Health, you will operate sophisticated medical imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images and collaborate closely with medical teams to deliver integrated healthcare services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in anatomy and physiology, patient positioning, and radiation safety and protection. Perform radiographic exams using appropriate imaging equipment Ensure compliance with safety protocols to limit exposure to radiation Prepare patients for procedures, explaining methodologies and calming their anxieties Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging data Work closely with radiologists to determine the appropriate imaging techniques Verify operation of equipment by conducting tests; troubleshooting when necessary Proficiency in radiographic positioning and techniques Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized under pressure Strong interpersonal and communication skills Capability to troubleshoot and maintain complex imaging equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure as required
