Travel RN PCU Days

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN (Registered Nurse) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with severe and complex illnesses or injuries that require close monitoring and intermediate-level care. Our ideal candidate is committed to delivering patient-centered care, emphasizing safety and quality in one of our state-of-the-art facilities. Perform assessments and determine the treatment strategies for patients in the PCU. Implement plans for patient care and adjust interventions based upon the patient’s condition. Monitor and report any symptoms or changes in patient’s status. Coordinate with healthcare team members to facilitate positive patient outcomes. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on illness prevention and healthy lifestyle habits. Strong clinical skills with a focus on respiratory, cardiovascular, and high acuity patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Proficiency with electronic medical records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or eligible for reciprocity Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
