RN Asst Mgr-Nursing Oncology

Ascension is seeking a dedicated RN Assistant Manager for our Oncology Nursing Department, who will uphold our mission to provide compassionate, personalized care through innovation. This role is pivotal in managing nursing operations and enhancing patient care in our oncology unit. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster an environment of respect, empathy, and professionalism, ensuring the highest level of care for patients battling cancer. Supervise daily nursing operations in the oncology department Develop and implement nursing care plans for oncology patients Manage and train nursing staff, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and the highest care standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards Participate in budgeting and clinical resource management Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families Evaluate patient care and implement improvements as needed Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities In-depth knowledge of oncology nursing practices and principles Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment Proficient in clinical management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
