UCHealth, a leading Colorado-based nonprofit healthcare system, is seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Labor and Delivery to join our night shift team. This role is instrumental in providing high-quality, compassionate care to expectant mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum stages at multiple UCHealth facilities. Our Travel RNs enjoy the flexibility of working across different settings, gaining unparalleled experience, and contributing significantly to patient outcomes. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and respond proactively to any complications. Educate and support mothers, families, and caregivers before, during, and after the childbirth process. Maintain flexibility to travel between hospitals and adjust to varying clinical environments. Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery nursing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Proficiency in electronic health record systems Ability to handle stress and make critical decisions under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS and NRP certification preferred
