Speech Pathologist

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. Our organization prides itself on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in both facility-based and home-based settings across our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, helping them to improve their communication abilities and quality of life. Assess and diagnose patients with communication and swallowing deficits. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific needs. Educate patients and family members on communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress and treatment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Provide guidance and mentorship to speech pathology interns and assistants. Strong understanding of speech-language pathology practices and principles Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to design and execute detailed therapeutic interventions Capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Proficient in the use of medical software for record-keeping and teletherapy sessions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), valid state license
