Behavioral Health Therapist | Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic

Sanford Health, a leading healthcare provider with extensive facilities across multiple states, is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic. This role involves providing compassionate and effective mental health care, assessing patient needs, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. The successful candidate will work in a supportive team environment, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care in a setting that promotes healing and recovery. Conduct psychological assessments and diagnose mental health conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies. Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy. Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient treatment and progress. Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health care practices. Engage and educate patients and their families on managing mental health conditions effectively. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in mental health. Ability to build rapport and interact effectively with diverse patient populations. Experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and other therapeutic modalities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or similar in the state of practice. Certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or similar therapeutic techniques preferred.
