RN Acute Care Surgical Trauma

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Acute Care Surgical Trauma to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with acute traumatic surgical conditions. By joining our committed team, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic hospital environment, using advanced medical practices and collaborating closely with a team of specialized healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and support recovery. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical trauma patients. Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and execute patient care strategies. Monitor patient recovery post-surgery and adjust care plans as needed. Provide support, education, and guidance to patients and their families. Ensure adherence to hospital policies and ethical guidelines in the care of patients. Manage documentation of patient care services and outcomes. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and patient management systems Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, and safety guidelines Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS and TNCC preferred.
