Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Traveler WKND Days

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team on a traveling basis for weekend shifts. As a part of our nonprofit healthcare system, the successful candidate will provide patient-focused imaging services at various UCHealth hospitals and outpatient facilities across Colorado. This position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of operating ultrasound equipment to produce and record images according to physician's directives, aiding in patient diagnoses. Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment and manage diagnostic imaging software. Record, analyze, and process images and patient data, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Liaise with physicians and other healthcare team members to discuss patient procedures and diagnostic results. Maintain patient comfort and safety during ultrasound examinations. Assist radiologists with invasive procedures. Adhere to hospital standards and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to handle ultrasound equipment. Strong analytical skills for interpreting medical images. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required. Current CPR certification preferred.
