Cardiac Sonographer Associate

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Associate for our dynamic cardiology team. The selected candidate will be instrumental in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a patient-centered environment, helping to assess and diagnose cardiac conditions using state-of-the-art ultrasound technology. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a passion for improving patient health through precise imaging and collaborative healthcare. Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular tests to assess heart size, structure, and function. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, positioning patients, and applying gel used during ultrasound examinations. Analyze test results and provide information to the healthcare team to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical staff to optimize patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about test processes and possible follow-up procedures. Proficiency in the use of diagnostic ultrasound equipment Strong analytical skills for interpreting medical images Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
