RN Fellowship Progressive Care Nights

Join UCHealth, a respected and award-winning Colorado-based health care system, as an RN Fellow in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Night Shift program. This position offers a unique opportunity for registered nurses to elevate their skills in a critical care environment, focusing on patients who are not ill enough for the ICU but still require higher intensity care than medical-surgical units offer. Our fellowship includes specialized training in managing complex cardiopulmonary conditions, transitional care, and multi-system diseases, within a supportive and advanced healthcare setting. Monitor and care for patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and other complex health conditions. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate treatment plans. Administer medications, track vital signs, perform tests, and document patient status. Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment, and prevention strategies. Assist in the development and implementation of care plans and clinical protocols.
