RN NICU Nights

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for the night shift. Our state-of-the-art facilities in Colorado prioritize patient-centered care, and the NICU team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our most vulnerable patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal nursing, a commitment to family-centered care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care for neonates who require intensive medical attention. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to neonates based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide the best care and treatment plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate, using computerized documentation systems. Participate in educational programs to continuously improve and maintain clinical competency. Assist in the development and implementation of standards of care and practice within the NICU. Expertise in neonatal intensive care nursing Ability to perform in high-pressure environments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Solid understanding of health and safety guidelines Proficiency with healthcare IT systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain BLS/CPR certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) provider card
