Licensed Vocational Nurse Telemetry

In this vital role, the LVN will monitor patients’ vital signs and provide necessary medical attention to those in our telemetry units, ensuring the health and safety of patients with severe and acute conditions. You will be a key player in HCA Healthcare’s mission to care for and improve human life, delivering care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary using health information technology systems in the telemetry unit. Administer medications as prescribed and observe reactions. Assist physicians and registered nurses in complex medical procedures. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans. Maintain patient health records and reports. Ensure that all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met. Proficient in using health information technology systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong observational skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Licensed Vocational Nurse license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Telemetry certification preferred.
