Respiratory Therapist PEDS NICU

HCA Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated PEDS NICU team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing respiratory care services to neonates and children with acute and chronic respiratory conditions in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position requires a deep understanding of respiratory therapies and equipment, as well as the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our pediatric patients. Administer and manage respiratory care treatments and medications to neonates and pediatric patients. Monitor patient responses to treatments and modify plans as needed in collaboration with healthcare teams. Operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment. Educate and advise staff, patients, and families on respiratory therapy procedures. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Participate in clinical rounds with healthcare teams to discuss patient treatment plans. Proficiency in ventilator management Expertise in pediatric and neonatal care Ability to operate advanced respiratory care equipment Strong communication and collaboration skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state Respiratory Therapist license; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification preferred.
