Home Health Registered Nurse Full Time

Aveanna Healthcare, a national leader in home healthcare, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Home Health Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality and personalized nursing care to patients within the comfort of their homes across a diverse patient population. Our nurses are crucial in helping patients achieve their maximal health outcomes, ensuring consistent and comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. Assess patients' condition during every visit and chart your observations Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication review Administer medication as prescribed by the patient’s physician Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and others in the patient care plan Regularly review the patient’s care plan and adjust as necessary Document and report any changes in patient's conditions Liaise with external providers to coordinate additional services and treatments Provide palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life Stay up to date with new trends and regulations in the healthcare field Proven experience as a registered nurse Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid nursing license for the state of practice CPR certified ACL certification preferable but not required
