RN Medical ICU Nights

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to work night shifts. Our Medical ICU provides critical care services to patients with severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries, which require constant, comprehensive monitoring and treatment. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing complex patient care and contributing to achieving optimal outcomes in a high-stakes environment. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Administer medications, maintain proper fluid and nutrition statuses, and manage pain control. Interact with various members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient care. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management techniques.
