CDL A Truck Driver

As a CDL A Truck Driver with Hogan1, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation by ensuring safe and efficient transport of goods to our clients. Operate a commercial heavy vehicle to transport goods to various destinations with a focus on safety and efficiency. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, while ensuring that loading is complete and secure before driving. Report defects, accidents, or violations and provide detailed reports for any unforeseen incidents. Proven work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.).
