CDL A Truck Driver

Hogan1 is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious CDL A Truck Driver to join our reputable team in the transportation and logistics industry. In this role, the successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining our excellence in service delivery and expanding our capabilities in transportation management across extensive networks. This position requires a highly reliable individual who values punctuality, efficiency, and is committed to safety standards in all transport engagements. Operate a Class A truck and maintain legal load limits and compliance with all transport laws. Conduct detailed pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and report any problems or damages. Optimize route planning to meet delivery expectations and enhance fuel efficiency. Ensure timely delivery of goods to our clients while maintaining a log of working hours and rest periods to comply with state and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with logistics coordinators to address any on-road incidences or changes in delivery schedules. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned vehicles and engage in preventive maintenance routines. Provide excellent customer service, update customers on order status, and handle issues or complaints professionally. Strong ability to operate a commercial heavy vehicle safely and efficiently. Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems to manage multiple routes. Excellent physical health to manage the repetitive loading and unloading of cargo. Good mechanical skills to identify vehicle maintenance needs. Effective communication and documentation skills.
