CDL A Truck Driver

Hogan1 is actively seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious CDL A Truck Driver to join our expert team of transportation professionals. As a pivotal part of our operations, you will be instrumental in ensuring the timely and secure delivery of goods, while upholding our reputation for high-quality service and reliability. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic, on-the-move working environments and are committed to maintaining top-tier safety standards. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to deliver goods to various locations both locally and long distance. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Input macros into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures. Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible. Handle unforeseen situations like traffic, weather conditions and mechanical malfunctions with composure and efficiency. Proven work experience as a truck driver. Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc).
