Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck among specified routes to meet delivery deadlines. Load and unload cargo, verifying loads against shipping papers, ensuring accurate and damage-free deliveries. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair statuses, obeying applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinate with the logistics team to achieve effective freight handling and timely deliveries. Prepare reports on discrepancies in load deliveries, vehicle inspections, fuel consumption and other compliances. Proficient in GPS and route management tools. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent physical health and stamina, capable of handling long hours and heavy loads. Effective communication abilities.
