Job Title: Level 4 RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours Hours per Shift: Variable Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab License: RN License (New York) Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), Moderate Sedation Trained, Dysrhythmia, Telemetry Must-Have: - Experience with TAVR, Microclip, and Watchman - Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical Circulatory Support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD - Structural heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA - Critical care or cardiac experience required Description: The Cath Lab focuses on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. Four Cath labs and three EP labs care for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. The Cath Lab has a comprehensive program with pre and post procedural care in a holding area. The practice model is supported by RN staff collaborating with CVT to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Candidates must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required. Candidates must be moderate sedation trained and have proficiency in telemetry. Experience with specific cardiac procedures and devices is essential. Experience in device and ablation procedures is preferred.
