Registered Nurse (RN) Observation Unit

MedStar Health, a leading non-profit healthcare organization in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Observation Unit. Monitor and assess patient condition and stability in the Observation Unit. Administer medications, document patient care services and communicate patient condition as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on application of scientific nursing principles. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of patient care Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maryland, D.C. or Virginia BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
