RN Acute Float Pool Nights

UCHealth is a leading Colorado-based, nonprofit health care system dedicated to delivering superior patient care enhanced by advanced medical technologies. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Float Pool for night shifts. The selected candidate will work across multiple units at UCHealth facilities, adapting to dynamic environments and providing the highest levels of care to a diverse patient population. Provide comprehensive nursing care in multiple acute care units. Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Adjust and administer patient medications and provide treatments according to physician orders. Effectively communicate with patients, team members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure top-quality care. Participate in the development and implementation of patient management plans, recording all patient care data accurately. Work collaboratively with various healthcare teams to modify care plans based on evaluations, and relay important patient information during unit transfers. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Capability to perform well in diverse and high-pressure environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification ACLS certification preferred
