Trauma Nurse Lead

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Trauma Nurse Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in administering immediate and effective medical treatment to patients experiencing severe injuries and acute distress. Located at our state-of-the-art hospitals, the Trauma Nurse Lead will coordinate with a team of medical professionals to provide top-tier care and enhance patient outcomes. You will lead efforts in a fast-paced trauma unit, ensuring the integration of high-quality and compassionate trauma care management in alignment with our dedication to the improvement and care of human life. Oversee the nursing care for trauma patients and ensure compliance with all hospital and national safety protocols. Coordinate the activities of the trauma team in response to critical situations. Participate in trauma research and continual education to ensure the application of up-to-date practices. Manage the trauma patient care from admission to discharge, including initial assessment, intervention, and family communication. Instruct and mentor staff nurses and supporting healthcare staff within the unit.
