Clinical Nurse Coordinator Surgical Telemetry

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator Surgical Telemetry to join our dedicated and compassionate nursing team. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Surgical Telemetry unit, you will oversee patient care, ensure adherence to established policies, and facilitate communication between staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient care in the surgical telemetry unit. Manage and schedule staff, ensuring optimal staffing levels and use of resources. Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care needs before, during, and after surgical procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Implement and maintain policies and procedures for surgical telemetry practices. Provide mentoring, guidance, and feedback to the nursing staff. Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, health and safety regulations, and organizational and regulatory standards. Strong leadership and organizational skills Proficient in telemetry and surgical care practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic medical records and medical software systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice BLS Certified ACLS Certification preferred Certification in Telemetry Nursing is a plus
