Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our compassionate medical team. This role focuses on providing specialized nursing care for patients with mental health issues, in a supportive and comprehensive healthcare environment. You will work in a dynamic setting at one of our nearly 2,000 sites of care, applying your specialized skills to help patients manage or recover from their mental health conditions, ensuring the highest level of care tailored to individual needs. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients with mental health and behavioral disorders Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor treatments for patients Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families about mental health management Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed Administer medication as prescribed and manage therapy sessions Strong psychiatric and mental health knowledge Ability to handle high-stress situations Empathetic and compassionate patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Clinical proficiency in mental health assessments and treatment planning Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMH-BC) preferred
