You will be pivotal in managing patient care in pre-operative, operative, and post-operative settings, ensuring safety and effectuating optimal recovery. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for neurosurgical patients. Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, adjusting treatments as necessary. Administer medications, and record all care information concisely, accurately and completely. Provide pre- and post-operative care and clearly communicate instructions to patients and their families. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes. Strong clinical skills in a neurosurgical environment Ability to make quick and accurate assessments of patient conditions Proficiency in using medical software for patient care management Excellent communication and empathy in patient interactions Capability to work efficiently in high-stress environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of employment. BLS/ACLS Certification. Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred.
