Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Education and Practice Specialist to join our team, contributing to the continuing education and clinical competence of nursing staff across our extensive healthcare system. This role is pivotal in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and learning resources. The specialist helps ensure that staff across all Legacy Health locations - from rural health clinics to urban hospitals - receive the latest in evidence-based training, aligning with our mission to improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve. Develop, implement, and assess training programs for nursing staff within Legacy Health. Collaborate with clinical staff and management to identify educational needs and skill gaps. Coordinate with external healthcare educators and institutions to incorporate current best practices into training material. Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local continuing education requirements. Provide hands-on clinical instruction and support as needed. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments based on feedback and emerging healthcare trends. Support the implementation of new health technologies and practices within the workforce. Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and regulations. Proven ability to develop and implement effective training modules. Excellent leadership and communications skills. Ability to analyze and synthesize complex clinical information. Competence in MS Office and commonly used healthcare IT platforms. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Certification in Nursing Professional Development (CNP) preferred.
