Cardiopulmonary Technician

Legacy Health, a leading non-profit healthcare network, is seeking a dedicated Cardiopulmonary Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our respiratory therapy and cardiology departments by providing essential diagnostic and therapeutic services. The ideal candidate will have a profound ability to operate complex machinery, perform detailed assessments, and closely collaborate with medical staff to deliver patient-centered care in our state-of-the-art facilities across Oregon and Washington. Operate and maintain cardiopulmonary equipment including EKG, ventilators, and blood gas analyzers. Perform detailed patient assessments and report findings to healthcare teams. Monitor patient responses to treatments and modify therapeutic interventions based on protocols. Assist in the implementation of patient management plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and effectively and report any malfunctions. Strong technical proficiency with cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with healthcare professionals and patients. Ability to interpret clinical data and make informed decisions. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
