Pre-Registration Representative

Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health network in Oregon and Washington, is seeking a dedicated Pre-Registration Representative to join our dynamic team. This critical role focuses on the pre-registration and pre-service functions to streamline the patient intake process and enhance patient experience. The ideal candidate will handle patient information with utmost confidentiality and ensure all financial and insurance-related processes are managed efficiently before patient appointments and treatments. Verify patient demographic, insurance, and essential medical information prior to appointments. Update patient accounts with registration, financial responsibility, and billing information. Provide clear communication to patients about necessary pre-service steps and requirements. Coordinate with healthcare providers and billing departments to ensure smooth patient experiences. Handle inquiries and provide solutions regarding pre-registration issues. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all healthcare regulations. Proficient in medical software and patient management systems. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or similar is advantageous.
