Diesel Technician

This position will focus on maintaining and repairing diesel engines, ensuring the peak operational efficiency of our diverse fleet. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, identifying economic solutions. Repair or replace malfunctioning components of diesel engines and equipment. Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles. Collaborate with the fleet management team to optimize maintenance procedures. Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components and systems. Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools for diesel engines. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and working under vehicles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in Diesel Engine Repair, Diesel Electronics, or similar. Valid driver's license, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.
