RN Acute Care Resource Pool

UCHealth is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for our Acute Care Resource Pool to bring top-notch care to our patients across various departments in a dynamic environment. In this elevated role, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple specialties, gaining diverse experiences while providing patient-centered care in collaboration with a dedicated healthcare team. This position offers a unique chance to handle various medical situations, aiding in different acute care scenarios throughout our facilities. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care setting across multiple departments. Assess patient conditions and nursing needs, using clinical judgment to ensure optimal patient care. Perform diagnostic tests and medical procedures, ensuring all activities adhere to hospital policies and standards. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate the continuity of care. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Participate in professional development and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure best practices in acute care. Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Capability to adapt to varying workloads and patient needs. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of Colorado or a compact state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
