Respiratory Therapist, Registered- Part-Time

As a Sanford Health respiratory therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with top healthcare professionals and contribute to treatments that are vital to patient recovery and wellbeing. Assess and manage patients with respiratory illnesses and conditions. Administer and manage oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other ventilator supports. Monitor and record patient progress and adjust treatments as required. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and respiratory management. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Strong understanding of respiratory care modalities. Ability to operate standard respiratory equipment, including ventilators. Excellent diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills. Effective communication skills with both clinical teams and patients. Capacity to handle stressful situations and make informed clinical decisions. Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
