Job Description I'm hiring for a Microbiology Med Tech in Rhode Island! New Grads Welcome. The MT/MLT recognizes the difference between potential pathogens and normal flora for all specimen types (recognizing the difference in media, atmosphere, and temperature requirements for each specimen type); conducts quality control measures on all laboratory tests; follows protocol for running controls and accepting/verifying results according to established procedures; evaluates controls and recognizes discrepant control results and advises Supervisor as needed; records and files all data obtained; and more! Location: Near Providence, RI Type: Full-time and permanent Shift: M-F, 3p-11:30p, with Sat rotation Requirements: College degree; ASCP cert; prior experience, including microbiology Pay: Discussed during interview!
