Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Psychiatry - General/Other in Bridgeport, CT

Doctor of Medicine | Psychiatry - General/Other Location: Bridgeport, CT Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty accepted: Psychiatry Start date or shifts: ASAP ongoing Daily schedule: 5 to 10 hours per week; flexible hours. Minimum 5 hours per week required. Practice setting: Outpatient Types of procedures: Quality assurance and supervision of PMHNPs. Reviewing a percentage of charts for evidence based care and proper documentation. Conducting regular meetings to review and refine treatment plans. Providing guidance to strengthen diagnostic and psychopharmacological skills. Ages: Adolescent to Adult preferred Additional information: Non patient facing supervision role overseeing PMHNPs. Outpatient IOP level of care. Patient population includes ADHD and anxiety in children, adult diagnoses ranging from anxiety to severe persistent mental illness, and co occurring substance use treatment. EMR is EPIC with no recent experience requirement. Minimum 3 years experience required. Board Certification, BLS, DEA, and active state licensure required. Medicaid and Medicare number required prior to start and preferred prior to presentation. Travel and lodging available including mileage and hotel. Credentialing timeframe is 4 to 6 weeks.
