Ammonia Refrigeration Supervisor

Koch Foods is seeking a qualified Ammonia Refrigeration Supervisor to oversee the refrigeration systems across our U.S. facilities, ensuring all systems operate efficiently, safely, and economically. This position demands a highly skilled individual who can maintain the integrity and performance of complex ammonia refrigeration systems crucial to the product quality and safety standards typical of a leading poultry processor. As part of our engineering and maintenance team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's commitment to delivering fresh and innovative poultry products. Supervise the operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Manage and coordinate activities of the refrigeration team, setting clear goals and performance expectations. Conduct and document regular system inspections and audits. Troubleshoot and correct refrigeration system issues promptly. Prepare technical reports and maintain repair and maintenance logs. Collaborate with other departments to improve refrigeration strategies and enhance operational efficiency. Develop training materials and provide ongoing education to team members on proper operational procedures and safety protocols. Profound knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and their components. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Capable of working in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
