The team is welcoming to travelers and is focused on patient care. The recovery unit operates Monday to Friday from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Common shifts needed include 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call is required 5-7 days a month, with a response time of 60 minutes preferred within 30 minutes. Weekend call hours include 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. During holidays, on-call only is required. The unit is staffed daily with 16 RNs. Common procedures include admissions and recovery for patients undergoing left and right heart catheterizations, complex PCI, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular cases.
