Master Mechanic

Avis Budget Group is seeking a highly skilled Master Mechanic to join our team, dedicated to maintaining the excellence and reliability of our extensive fleet of vehicles. This pivotal role requires a deep knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues. As a Master Mechanic, you will ensure all vehicles meet the highest standards in performance and safety, aligning with our commitment to providing superior service and customer satisfaction across our renowned brands: Avis, Budget, and Zipcar. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across various types of vehicles. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and verification of system functionality. Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and operational standards. Liaise with parts suppliers and manage inventory effectively. Lead and train junior mechanics, sharing knowledge and best practices. Stay updated with technological advancements in automotive industry. Advanced knowledge of automotive mechanics and electronics. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASE Master Certification strongly preferred. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
