Travel RN EP Lab

UCHealth, a renowned leader in the healthcare industry, located in the heart of Colorado, is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN for our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. This position plays a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for heart rhythm disorders. As part of our dynamic team, you will operate in a fast-paced environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to assist in procedures that are pivotal for patient outcomes. This role allows the incumbent to travel between different UCHealth facilities, gaining exposure and contributing to healthcare excellence across diverse settings. Administer nursing care to patients in the EP Lab preparing for, during, and after procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and heart rhythms during procedures, intervening as necessary. Operate and understand EP lab equipment and technology with precision. Educate patients and families on procedure details, postoperative care, and health management. Travel between UCHealth facilities as required, adapting to diverse team environments. Collaborate with healthcare specialists to evaluate medical interventions. Strong clinical skills in cardiology and electrophysiology Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills Capable of high-level problem-solving and decision-making Adept in the use of EP lab technology and equipment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to diverse environments and teams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or eligibility for licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Experience in EPIC systems preferred but not required
