Ideal for experienced OR RNs and perioperative travel nurses with Epic EMR experience and broad surgical specialty competency. Job Details – OR RN Travel Job (Florence, SC) - Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Perioperative / Operating Room RN) - Location: Florence, SC 29505 (South Carolina travel nursing job) - Start Date: March 30, 2026 - End Date: June 29, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:00) - Hours per Week: 40 - On-Call: Yes – 2-star call until 11:00 PM per week and every 3rd–4th weekend - Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd–4th weekend (on-call rotation) - Patient Population: Adults - Number of ORs: 12 - Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center - Charting / EMR: Epic EMR (experience preferred) - Provided: Scrubs, Free Parking - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 – $1,920 Job Requirements – Operating Room RN / Perioperative Nurse - Experience: Minimum 5 years recent acute-care Operating Room RN experience; well-rounded in general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN cases - First-Time Travelers: Accepted if you have broad specialty competency - License: Active South Carolina RN license or Compact/Multi-State RN license (pending SC license considered with proof of application; must be active prior to start) - Certifications: BLS (required) - Radiation Safety: Radiation badge required (must be provided by the clinician’s agency) - Local Radius Rule: Must reside outside a 60-mile radius (local candidates not accepted) - Immunizations: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required Key Responsibilities – OR Nurse / Circulating RN - Deliver safe, efficient perioperative nursing care for adult surgical patients in the Operating Room (perioperative RN / OR nurse role) - Function primarily as a circulating RN, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary surgical team - Maintain sterile technique and adhere to OR safety standards, time-outs, and surgical checklists - Perform perioperative documentation accurately and promptly in Epic EMR - Participate in the required on-call rotation, including evenings and every 3rd–4th weekend - Follow radiation safety practices and facility policies, including proper use of a radiation badge - Support a positive team environment and uphold high standards of patient-centered surgical care Why work in Florence, SC?
