Nursing Assistant, Certified, Long Term Care

Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in the long term care department. Our center focuses on providing exceptional healthcare to underserved communities, emphasizing holistic health and wellness. This role includes direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, helping with routine activities to support and improve the quality of life for our patients. Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients. Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed. Help patients with mobility and transportation needs. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Observe patients' conditions and report any significant changes to professional staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position, including lifting patients. Knowledge of infection control practices. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Proficiency in documenting and maintaining patient care records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. CPR/BLS certification preferred.
