CDL Class B Delivery Truck Driver

Performance Foodservice, a leading food distributor in the U.S., is seeking a reliable CDL Class B Delivery Truck Driver to enhance our transportation team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food and food-related products to our diverse range of clients, from local family-owned restaurants to prominent nationwide chains. This position requires excellent driving skills, adherence to transportation laws, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Deliver food and food-related products to various customer locations within set delivery timeframes. Ensure the accuracy and safety of all cargo during transport. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Inspect trucks daily for cleanliness and good working condition before and after trips. Follow routes and time schedules as planned by the logistics team. Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed. Adhere strictly to safety and traffic laws to ensure the secure delivery of goods. Strong driving skills and familiarity with delivery route planning. Excellent time management and customer service skills. Ability to perform physical activities like lifting, walking, and carrying heavy items. Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
