Registered Respiratory Therapist NICU

We are actively seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our neonatal intensive care unit team. This role is crucial in supporting our youngest patients with respiratory care needs, managing ventilation systems, and working collaboratively with neonatologists and nurses to deliver holistic and high-quality care tailored specifically for neonates. Provide respiratory therapy interventions as prescribed by neonatologists, including mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation. Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to contribute to patient care planning and implementation. Educate parents and families on patient care and respiratory treatment plans. Ensure all respiratory equipment is functioning correctly and maintain hygiene and safety standards. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records according to protocol. Proficient in neonatal ventilation management. Strong understanding of respiratory care protocols and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stress environment.
