We are eagerly seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit at our facility. This role demands acute sensitivity to the complexities of critically injured patients and a commitment to providing top-tier patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our ICU team, you will work alongside leading healthcare professionals, utilizing the latest in medical technologies and practices, to deliver life-sustaining and rehabilitative care to patients with critical surgical traumatic conditions. Provide direct nursing care for surgical trauma patients in a high-acuity ICU setting. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs. Sustain a highly collaborative environment alongside physicians, surgical teams, and other ICU staff. Engage in educational opportunities to update knowledge and skills, sharing learning outcomes with the team. Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring all patient interactions are handled discreetly, with empathy and professionalism. Proficient in managing patients with traumatic injuries, skillful in IV insertion, central lines, and ventilator care. Able to handle a high-pressure environment with rapid decision-making under critical situations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Experienced in using electronic patient records and clinical systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent required upon hire. Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
